An important concept to consider, one that I think adds to my overall point. It's interesting how we can often see the Messiah in both historical contexts (as a person in a particular era) and as an eternal reality without beginning or end. I think understanding how that eternal reality irrupts into our temporal lives is much of what my essay here tries to explore, or at least indicate.
