I really only meant the phrase “values finally dying” in the context of the evolutionary model you described, of some giving way for further values; what you would probably call the lower-case-v values, as opposed to the upper-case-V universal Values. Something like that.

I like your point on natural selection being something more than pure randomness. It reminds me of the work of Eric Steinhart, a professor at William Paterson University. You should check him out, I think you’d find his work interesting.
