I think that's a great way to put it, and could easily be ported into this idea. In Mormonism, God is typically seen as a particular person, embodied in flesh and bones, except divine and immortal (comparable to the resurrected Jesus); so this theology might say that God is the one who is most fully at home in this proverbial room. But I think there's plenty of room for both interpretations, even if terminology may vary from person to person.
